It all begins in Baqueira, in the 1500 core in 2010. There, a young David takes over a small, hidden bar with problems with the neighbors.

That's just how it is: there's no money for more! The bank doesn't trust the project yet, so we have to dip into our meager savings.

After buying all the machinery, the transfer and of course, the beer, David runs out of money to change the name of the bar: BAR ETH REFUGI.

With a copy shop sticker, he crosses out "BAR" and puts "BIRRERIA" on it. And that's where it all begins.
Little by little people started saying "Let's go to REFU," and REFU stuck.

That project is now 15 years old. And although the bar in Baqueira closed in 2019,
REFU Vielha arrived in 2015 to stay in the middle of the main street, at number 18, to offer you Art, Gastro and good Beer.

Today the project also has its own factory, since 2018, where you can buy your beer online and have it delivered to your home fresh and in good condition.
