Second edition of our Dark Mild Ale in collaboration with our colleagues at Meta Edabeak (Astigarraga-Euskal Herria). In honor of a song by a band that both projects are fans of, the Idles .

Dark Mild Ale is an English beer style characterized by its dark color and low alcohol content . In our case, only 3%! It's a smooth, malty beer, perfect for practically any time of day.

Although dark, it has a light body and low bitterness , making it very drinkable . This style was very popular in the UK during the 19th and early 20th centuries among the working class. Initially intended to be very price-competitive, it was even served before the fermentation process was fully complete. For years, it was known in the UK as the people's beer . Its popularity has declined in recent years, so to pay homage to the working class, REFU and META are joining forces once again to go against the grain.

DESCRIPTION:

Dark brown with reddish highlights, compact head. Aromas of biscuit, cereal, light roasted notes. Light body, low carbonation, caramel notes, balanced with a dry finish and slight bitterness.
